There are two types of boat rides available: one powered by a generator and the other by an outboard motor (OBM). I recommend taking the OBM-powered boat, as the generator-powered one is very noisy and vibrates a lot. Be sure to enjoy this trip!

If you are traveling through Karnataka, Honnavar is an absolute must-visit destination. The highlight of the trip is the 1-hour boat ride through the river. It is incredibly peaceful and offers stunning, scenic views of the water lined with lush coconut trees🌴 ☀️ There is one main "photograph spot" along the route that you’ve likely seen in most pictures of Honnavar. It’s just as beautiful in person and definitely worth a stop for the memories! 😍 Tips: -Be aware that the boat rides can be a bit pricey. -do negotiate the price on the spot (which i dont think would make any difference 🫥) -It is highly recommended to do a pre-booking for the boats to ensure potentially a better rate.
This is the best boating experience at a very good price and the places were very clean and neat. Breath taking view of sunset and river is guaranteed if you try it in the evening. Perfect place for pre wedding shoots and all. It is little bit crowded in the weekends and the main problem is choosing the boating owner there ... There will be high disturbance from the few groups to get in to their boat in the way. They might be rude. You need to pre book. Anyone can try with family as well.
What a beautiful experience !!! Heavenly is the only word for it. Very nice experience and the guide / anna or the driver of the boat was quite helpful and informative. It is a paradise for photographers and it will definitely fill your gallery ! It's serenity is its peak !
Enthralling! The 30 min boat ride through the mangroves in the lower course of River sharavati offer enthralling experience if you go as a family. The boats are 2 tiered and offer a great sailing experience. You will find a floating shop through the course
Kerala backwater feel u will get in our own Backyard.. Boatride is calm and pleasant... Njoyed the morning at backwater along with mangroves....
A Hidden Gem in Nature! Hannover Backwater is a peaceful and scenic spot, perfect for relaxation and nature lovers. The surroundings are clean, green, and serene. Great place to spend time with family or friends. The view during sunrise and sunset is truly breathtaking. Highly recommended for a short getaway or a quiet picnic!
